Quote of the day: “Walking my metaphorical dog.” Who uttered these words? You’ll have to go west, gentle reader, to find out.
I deserve fifty-two lashes for failing to introduce Patrick’s new blog in a timely manner. “Paltry Puissance,” he calls it, and I had to make a quick trip to my favorite online dictionary to discover what “puissance” means. In case you’re too lazy to click on the link, it means “power” or “might,” so the title presents a tasty conundrum. Paltry power? Is that a paradox? Does the subtext create some sort of literary tension? A headache suddenly hit me, forcing me to take a nap.
You want more news? That’s too bad, especially since I’m going to type out my metaphorical I-don’t-have-anything-worthwhile-to-talk-about-message. Oh, wait. It’s a literal I-don’t-have-anything-worthwhile-to-talk-about-message.
