Having never laid eyes on a Quentin Tarantino flick before, I found Kill Bill to be a welcome breath of fresh, blood splattered air. Real-life CEO Brian took out us out for lunch and a movie, and so I sat in the theatre with a stomach full of Chili’s, ready for a generic action flick.
Within the first three minutes of the film, a hearty amount of blood had already spilled across the screen. The movie continued on in the same severed vein for another hour and fifty minutes, but boy was it a stylish hour and fifty minutes. While this was by far the goriest movie I’ve ever seen, it was a good kind of gore, if such a thing is possible.
One scene in the latter half of the movie really gave the much vaunted “Burly Brawl” from Matrix Reloaded a run for the money. In fact, I’d say that all of the action scenes were top notch. I implore you, gentle reader, to go see it!
