Pensive, gentle reader, I am pensive. A couple of weeks ago, I spilled out all of my job-related angst onto the Worldwide Webiverse–thank you, Mr. Morgendorffer, for that catchy phrase–and it wasn’t a pretty sight. Thankfully, two interviews appeared out of nowhere, but I never followed up on what happened, did I?

To make a nonexistent story stay that way, one employer decided to clam up like an uncooked Long John Silver’s entrĂ©e after learning that I could only start well after May. And the other employer, while very cordial and responsive, required that I fly out to Los Angeles to interview. Once again, Providence shone on me and I heard from my old boss at Peel. A chance to work full-time and remain in the Midwest, you say? Where do I sign up? By next Wednesday, arrangements will be finalized, and I need to tell you these things because you care. Right? RIGHT?

And tomorrow? Tomorrow, I will return to Peel for an interview. Holy fruits, I hope I don’t choke.
