I wanted to know, wanted to be able to articulate and appreciate it, and I finally have some ideas to toss around. I believe, dear reader, that conversation is a necessity and an art, a tangible pleasure tempered by wit and guided by intuition.

It is colored by dynamism as well, and there is room to fix, to wonder, to complain. And then there are the silences, equally important, often needed, because even the quarter note rest has its moments. Above all, I think that compassion has something to do with it, watering it and keeping it from drying up in a bored wisp of smoke. What do you think?
