I was inducted into the thrilling world of accounting recently, gentle reader, and for our purposes it means I’m staying at work even later. You may think this allows for deeper, longer, more enriching discussions, but you’re flat out wrong.
I’ve got to leave now, so I promise we’ll talk more tomorrow. Work has begun, for real this time, on a grand novel, a timeless classic forged by my co-worker and me. It will be equal parts Vonnegut and Philip K. Dick upon completion, which is likely never. You know how these things go, especially with two college grads at the helm.
Although you start off with high hopes and copious amounts of energy, eventually–too often, unfortunately–things burn out in a glorious explosion of verbs, nuns, and additives. Try we must, though, and also talk like Yoda we will.
