Do you know what I found buried deep inside my tennis racquet today, gentle reader? A consistent, moderately fast second serve! The wide world of tennis may loudly rejoice now.
I also realize that I may have been a bit vague about my whereabouts as of late, so I’ll take a moment to lay it all out clearly. I am currently in North Carolina, but I’ll be back in Chicago on August 4th.
Gentle readers who use Blogger technology will no doubt have noticed the new frontend. I logged on tonight and after futzing around with the new buttons and such, I felt as if I’d drooled all over myself. After checking the front of my shirt, I’m happy to report (and you’ll be disappointed to know) that I didn’t, in fact, do so.
Am I connecting with you on a substantive level? AM I? There’s something about the big, dorky font that makes me feel positively unwholesome. Either that, or Blogger thinks I’m extra-special. No, I don’t need to expound on my italicized word because you know perfectly well what I’m talking about. I’m talking about the extra-specialty that warrants a pickup from that extra-special bus.
I think I’ll click and purposefully miss those large buttons just to spite them. Spite! Spite!
I should run a contest, one replete with unfathomable* monetary reward, wherein participants list all of the Chicagoan retailers who carry Boar’s Head products. Can any gentle readers rise to the challenge?
*(Unfathomable = 0.00 USD)
