I’ve had an overdose of suburbia, gentle reader, and I can feel myself losing my stranglehold on sanity. Too much in one day, too much! There’s only so much Target and Walmart that one can stomach, you know, and the sun-baked John Deere units just sitting and being green in front of The Home Depot are only quaint for the first three minutes.

The real question, of course, is whether I’ll be complaining so fifteen years from now. Yikes.

Who on God’s green earth made AOL? I’m only asking, gentle reader, because I’d like to meet this person and treat him/her to a mouthful of Gloves of Tastefulness.

I am thankful for the fun tennis I’ve played in the past few days. One hour, two hours, a set, two; I’ve got my own little Wimbledon right here in the States.

I am also thankful for the fun, albeit limited banter I’ve had the pleasure of experiencing recently. It’s like they’re born witty at Harvard!

I am also thankful for you, gentle reader, and for the lovely pastries you bring me daily. You did bring me pastries today, didn’t you?
