Episodic gaming, well, I’m all for it. Done correctly, the entertainment becomes dense and focused, like each beat has some heft to it. This baby was my evening, and some of the set pieces incited genuine desperation, with every second savored.

If gaming journalism’s your kinda thing, you should check out The Escapist. It’s like The Atlantic Monthly of the genre, complete with all the attendant good and bad.
